Healthy 'Cane Network

There are multiple variables that contribute to a student’s well-being.

At the University of Miami, we’ve narrowed down the complexity of well-being into three simple ideals: healthy behaviors, healthy body and healthy brain. These three factors contribute to happiness, productivity, academic achievement and overall life-satisfaction.

There are a variety of well-being resources available virtually from across campus. From at home exercises to mental health outreach webinars, we are here to help you find balance in this turbulent time.
Healthy behaviors are those that will have a positive effect on your health, performance and well-being.

A healthy body means maintaining an adequate fitness level and eating the appropriate foods so that you are healthy.

A healthy brain can learn, concentrate, maintain an active and clear mind, and effectively regulate emotions.
