While classes have moved to online instruction through the end of the Spring 2020 semester, the Division of Student Affairs and other campus partners continue to provide a range of virtual programs and services to help students stay connected to campus and to fellow 'Canes. In addition to campus offices maintaining regular operations remotely, below is a collection of special virtual offerings for students. As always, visit coronavirus.miami.edu for the latest information about campus operations.

Students who qualify can continue to be seen by the Counseling Center through Zoom telemental health sessions or telephone. All students, regardless of location, can access our 24/7 Crisis Line by calling 305-284-5511 (Press 1) to speak with a counselor.

Student Health Service remains open Monday - Friday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. and continues to provide care by appointment only. At this time, all visits will be via telehealth and, if needed, these visits will be followed by in-person care.


A variety of academic support services and programs continue to be provided through virtual delivery methods, allowing students to still receive the academic support they need to succeed in their classes.


Technology

The Student Technology Help Desk continues to provide technical support for students via phone, email, and remotely to assist students with issues they may be facing while setting up their personal computers for online learning.

Stay active while staying home by participating in these virtual wellness, fitness, and recreational programs including workouts of the day, at-home yoga classes, an eSports league, and more.

The University’s Chaplains Association remains committed to supporting the spiritual needs of our campus community. Individual chaplaincies continue to offer various virtual opportunities to connect to faith-based programming and initiatives.



A variety of virtual career services are available for students. In addition to the ones listed below, students can continue to submit their resumes on Handshake for an online resume critique or to discuss during the virtual meetings listed below.

Student organizations and their members can access virtual resources and programs as well as necessary tools to stay active and connected.
