Strategic Planning Process

Student Affairs kicked off the strategic planning process in Fall 2018 with a series of Roadmap Studios, which included participation from over 70 members of the Division’s staff. During these interactive workshops, staff was asked to answer two questions:

  • What would the student outcomes be if the Roadmap Priorities were to be achieved?
  • What is the role, if any, of the Division of Student Affairs in helping students achieve these outcomes?

Secondly, the Division shared results from these sessions at an all-staff meeting and asked attendees to further expand upon the themes and ideas that emerged from the studio sessions. Feedback ranged from implementing specific programs to new and creative ideas for future exploration.
